My recommended steps are based on my personal experience recovering from CIRS. Both the Shoemaker and Neil Nathan protocols are missing the foundational steps of supporting your body and preventing changes in gene expressions. It’s interesting how different each are and this highlights they are both clearly missing something.

Why don’t I recommend focusing on resolving specific lab markers?
In my opinion, that is like a wild goose chase. There are recommendations for what you can do to help correct each one, but I didn’t find it very helpful. It’s essentially just adding more and more medications or supplements. If you follow the foundations, then these will resolve on their own. If you're interested in specific recommendations based on lab markers, please reach out, and I can share the initial research I've compiled.
The Shoemaker Protocol
This protocol focuses on removal from exposure, removing internal triggers you’ve accumulated, then focusing on specific lab markers. Here is a link to Shoemaker Certified Practitioners.

Neil Nathan Protocol
Dr. Nathan’s approach involves multiple steps and is highly individualized, recognizing that many patients are sensitive to conventional treatment strengths. Key components of his protocol include the use of antifungals, binders, chelators, and supplements to address various aspects of biotoxin illness. This isn’t as popular as the Shoemaker protocol but still has good information.
