Support Healing
TLDR - We are exposed to many different stressors and have to allow our bodies to heal to prevent issues from compiling. If we can successfully heal then we can get back to homeostasis.

Supporting the body's healing processes is crucial for maintaining overall health and homeostasis. We discussed in Avoiding Danger Response how we now encounter a multitude of stressors, both internal and externa, that can disrupt our body's natural balance. By actively supporting healing, we allow our body to recover from these stressors, preventing minor issues from compiling and evolving into more significant health problems.
If the body does not have adequate time and resources to heal, the effects of stressors can accumulate, leading to chronic health issues. Examples:
Chronic Stress: Continuous exposure to stress without proper recovery can lead to chronic stress, which disrupts homeostasis and contributes to conditions like hypertension, anxiety, and depression.
Inflammation: Persistent inflammation from unresolved stressors can result in chronic diseases such as arthritis, cardiovascular disease, and diabetes.
Immune Dysfunction: Without adequate healing, the immune system can become compromised, making the body more susceptible to infections and illnesses.
The foundation diagram details the recommended ways to support healing.
