TLDR - If you have been diagnosed with CIRS then finding a safe living space is the most critical step before you can begin healing.

Something is causing your body to remain in a constant state of inflammation, and your home and/or work environments are likely the culprits. This is the most difficult part, but it is critical to find an environment you can tolerate. If you don’t, you won't be able to improve your health. While mold is often the first suspect, when you are very sick, you may also react to many other things around you. Below are my recommendations.
Attempt to clean your current living arrangement: Cleaning yourself may stir up mold/dust and other triggers that could make you more sick. If possible, have someone else clean for you.
I highly recommend the book Prescriptions for a Healthy House for learning how to maintain a safe home. Note that this is pretty extreme, but you may need to be at the start of your healing journey. Once you begin to heal (with the foundations), then you will be less sensitive and won’t need to be as extreme. Also note that stress will only make things worse. Do your best to keep things clean but know you will still be able to heal if things aren’t perfect.
There are many testing options if you want data. I’d recommend against testing when possible and try to go off of how you feel. There are a million things you could be reacting to so testing isn’t always very helpful. (and becomes very expensive)
Find a new living space: If you are unable to successfully clean your current living space, you will unfortunately need to move. Many people try to stay and make it work, but I have rarely seen this successful. I personally had to sell my house and move to begin healing.
Identify if your work space is safe: Home is the top priority but your work space is also very important. Once you know your home is safe, begin investigating if work is also a problem.
Be aware of the places you go: In order to heal, you need to quit being inflamed. This means long periods of time without any triggers. As you become more aware of your surroundings, you will start to learn what is safe and what isn’t.
